A Union Type Stainless Steel Flex Hose is a flexible piping component made from a stainless steel corrugated inner hose with stainless steel braided reinforcement, fitted with union-type end connections. It is designed to absorb vibration, compensate for thermal expansion, and correct minor misalignment in piping systems, while offering high strength, corrosion resistance, and reliable, leak-tight performance in demanding industrial applications.
Performance Characteristics
The main elastic element of flexible expansion joint is stainless steel bellows. Through the expansion and bending of bellows, the flexible expansion joint accommodates pipeline movement in axial, transverse and angular directions. Flexible expansion joint can play the following roles:
